The Rabble Rouser Movement is a collective of diverse activist, organizations, artist, business leaders and residents who discuss and act on topics centered around Health/Spirituality (THE TEMPLE), Nation Building (LADIES OF LIBERATION), Race (BLACK IS, BLACK AIN’T), our Streets (SOLDIERS OF LOVE), and the Arts & Activism (ARTIVISM) in communities of color. Our mission is to promote the 360 degree principles of awareness, accountability, action in order to become agents of change.
What this means is that we bring awareness to issues poisoning our communities, but also focus on positive urban movements generally ignored by mainstream media. We work collectively as a community and focus on bridging the gap between the traditional and progressive ideas of organizing. Our goal is to reignite the philanthropic and leadership spirit of post-baby boomer generations of color encouraging them to actively reinvest in their communities by supporting and strengthening existing programs and businesses; or by doing little things to give back whether picking up litter or mentoring a young one on their way to school each morning. The Professional Rabble Rouser is a peoples movement. We are the voice of righteousness and we believe that all parties should work collectively to become agents of change. We are the national umbrella for leaders and residents who service and reside in communities of color. We recognize that our differences are far fewer than our similarities and together we are stronger than when we are apart. We don’t just talk about it, we be about it up in these streets.
